Blue Dart Rush is an evergreen perennial grass prized for its thin blue leaves and the soothing color and fine texture it provides in garden beds or as vertical accent in container gardens. Smaller in stature than ‘Blue Arrows’, the stiff, thin leaves emerge lime green in color turning blue and remaining that color throughout the rest of the year, even during winter. Though this one is often grown as a bog or pond plant it is also fairly drought tolerant in garden beds. Juncus are tough, versatile, and evergreen in most climates, and Blue Dart won’t disappoint.

Growing in an upright clump 12 to 18 inches tall and 12 to 15 inches wide, Blue Dart Rush is ideal for use as an accent or in groupings or mass plantings in landscape borders, garden beds and home foundation plantings. Excellent for use as a vertical accent in pots, planters and other containers which can be placed on the patio or in the margins of the garden pond.
