Abundant showy clusters of  tubular flaming scarlet flowers with orange throats pop against the attractive blue-green foliage on this fast grower up to 20 feet in height or length. Clusters of long lasting bright red berries follow the flowers for extra-added appeal and food for your feathered friends. This vine does not cling to walls and other surfaces, however, it will grow up and on just about anything that provides its vines something to twine around. If you don’t have a trellis, pergola, arch or other structure suitable for this vine to grow on, it can also be grown as a groundcover.
